A little more about me.

I began my career as a Business and Technology Teacher. While still in the classroom, I worked with our curriculum and technology departments to lead the professional development of over 700 teachers as our district adopted Google for Education.

In 2016, I became an Instructional Innovation and Design Specialist, working with teachers K-12 on technology integration, innovation instructional planning, and personalized learning.

In 2020, I moved into the Director of Instructional Design and Personalized Learning role, where I was tasked with overseeing all planning, budgeting, and professional learning related to instructional design, personalized programming, instructional technology, and library programs. Some of my major projects include:

• Co-authoring the 2021-2026 Strategic Plan, placing a focus on personalized student preparation
• Co-authoring the AASA Learning 2025 Lighthouse application, making Mehlville the first member in the state, and serving as district representative
• Co-authoring the League of Innovative Schools application, making Mehlville the only member in the state, and serving as district representative
• Realigning the instructional technology budget to mirror the strategic plan and curricular goals
• Overseeing research, purchasing, implementation, and management of large technology initiatives, including Canvas, Gaggle, and Adobe for Education
• Development of a regionally and nationally recognized Student Data Privacy and Tool Approval process
• In partnership with district leadership, supported the opening of MOSAIC Elementary and the development of the Middle School Academy program
