Coaching and Professional Development
In my district, my job is an ongoing cycle of professional development, instructional coaching, and lesson co-planning and co-teaching. I don’t think I have a “favorite” part; but, rather, my favorite thing is seeing how all the pieces fit together into a cycle.
I’ve developed a Coaching Model for myself, illustrated somewhat coherently in the sketchnote below. My coaching model, which I refer to as Connected Coaching, is a blend of ideas from conference presenters, webinars, blogs/articles, and experience.
